Golden Stripe
The sun's walking between the buildings, and the walls compressing the light into a mere stripe, which they will let pass through. A stripe from the ground, over a gold Forsythia, to trunks, branches, and the thinnest twigs of trees to the sky is rising. The golden color of the late sun cut across the landscape with a sharp streak.
As soon as the sun passed behind a building it disappeared.
