Ants Scared the Fog from Me
I've never experienced such a scary painting process. It was a miracle I started the painting, but even more that I managed to finish it. It's been a month or so, those drain trousers and shoes with big lakes inside was fun, but I won't forget the moment in the wrong spot when my legs turned all black as the whole anthill was climbing up them.
Concentrating after this experience wasn't easy for me, which is why I think the result feels so grim and half-empty.
But now I am learning, that sometimes I have to step away from my high expectations of perfect spots, because I often take risks and as my eyes are blinded by that perfection, I can't see or recognize the beauty of the surroundings, which are already around.
*and also to be more careful where I step!
