Birch Blue
Everything is so quiet. The sun is still deep down in the horizon. I pass a birch trunk that amazes me by its nocturnal form. Its bark glows in bright blue surrounded by leaves of dark blue-greens so it makes it look as if someone illuminated it by a harsh blue light.
The sky is dawning and the blue birch is fading. I have to get back here tomorrow, get back but even earlier.
