Frankly, this one was a big troublemaker. During the morning, the light changed so much that none of it made sense to me anymore. I just fell into the grass and waited for both of us to sort ourselves out.
On the way home I couldn't even look at it. I was terrified.
And guess what now. For me, the most impresive space I've ever created in a painting. The branches seem to actually twist in front of your eyes. The trunk and the lichen structure scraped by a dry straw of grass did it's powerful magic again, and the colors...
Sometimes I just don't understand myself. Cause now I really love it.
