Do you know how wonderful is to be occupied for hours by passions while having a valuable conversation with a frog, that watched over me till the end to keep my work going? That was discipline bigger than at school. Who would have thought I'd have such impeccable company, right?
Looking back at this canvas, I really like the contrast of the darkened water lilies and the brightened clouds together at the center of the watersurface into which the mature trees cast their wide trunks. All just by a hidden pond with an avenue of water lilies. Just breathtaking.
